Berlin, DE – Celebrating its three-year anniversary, the International Institute for Research Performance Management (IPERF) announces the newly elected IPERF Board of Directors. Three members of the Board continue their seat while two new members join. Each will serve for a two-year term.
|Dr. Joachim Schaper served before as a Vice Chairman, was elected Chairman of the board. Joachim is a Vice President at AGT Group (R&D) Germany. Until 2010 he was responsible for EMEA at SAP Research. Joachim is closely involved in the definition of industrial initiatives as part of the European framework program and served on the industrial advisory board of the EC.|
|Dr. Peter Jeutter served before as a founding Chairman of the IPERF Board of Directors, was elected as Vice Chairman. Peter is the founder of Jeutter Consulting, Berlin, focusing on lobby consulting and public affairs. Before, he worked as representative of the board of directors of Unisys Deutschland GmbH and was in charge of the liaison office in Bonn.|
|Petra Frenzel was elected as the new Vice Chairman of IPERF. Petra has more than 30 years of experience in General Management, Service and Strategic Solution Management in the ICT-Industry. She has worked on CEO and MD levels for more than 17 years at companies such as Logica, PeopleSoft, Aspect Communications and SAP. Her specialties are post merger integration, change, growth, talent and innovation management.|
|Burkhard Neidecker-Lutz was elected as the new Secretary General of IPERF. Burkhard is a Fellow at SAP AG overseeing the new SAP HANA strategic projects. Before he was the Technical Director of SAP Research. In this role, he was responsible for the content coordination across all the research fields of SAP and, as a member of the Research Portfolio Office, shaped and defined the global research agenda of SAP. He previously held a similar position with Digital Equipment‘s European Research Organization.|
|Dr. Tatjana Samsonowa served before as a Treasurer and was re-elected assuming the same responsibility for the next term. Tatjana is Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Management in St. Petersburg and a managing director at IPERF. Before, she worked as innovation and relationship manager at SAP, Walldorf, Germany.|

IPERF, the International Institute for Research Performance Management with headquarters in Luxembourg, was founded by an internationally renowned group of researchers, academics and consultants. The institute conducts research, consulting and training on performance measurement and management in R&D and innovation.
With its offices in Luxembourg and Germany, IPERF co-operates closely with the Graduate School of Management (GSOM) in St. Petersburg as well as the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Technology Management and Innovation (EnTechnon) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and the Institute of Software Business & Information Management at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
In cooperation with universities, IPERF is offering courses on Innovation and Research Performance Management and Strategic Innovation.
IPERF is supporting companies and institutions to identify, align and implement innovation performance management and to improve innovation processes and thus increase the returns of investment into research and innovation.
